Nasi Lemuni Sambal Sotong

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Musim-musim hujan macam ni, sedap kalau makan nasi lemuni panas-panas. This what I cooked days before. The rice was cooked together with this special leaf known as 'lemuni' in the northen part of Malaysia. You can see how the leaf looks like on the left side. Making it is simple. Just like cooking any nasi lemak except that you need to add some blended lemuni leaf together when cooking the rice. So, here is what you need to cook this lemuni rice: 3 cups of rice grains - rinse 1 handful of lemuni leafs (only the leaf, remove the stems) - blend with 1 cup of water 1 inch of ginger - sliced 1 onion - sliced 3 cups of coconut milk. I used 'Khalif' the palm milk. Salt to taste How to: (using the rice cooker) 1. Put all ingredients into the rice cooker pot. 2. Add salt. Stir to mixed all ingredients well. 3. Set the rice cooker to cook. And whalla! the rice will cook to perfection. To add taste to it. Ea
